Terms of Service

Last updated May 31, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of BidSignal (the “Service”), operated by Merwin Aamir d/b/a BidSignal (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What BidSignal does

BidSignal aggregates publicly available U.S. federal and state government contract opportunities from public government records and official government sources, matches them to the trade and regions you tell us about, and emails you a curated shortlist. We organize and surface information that is already public; we do not represent any government agency, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government body.

3. Subscriptions and pricing

BidSignal offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Free accounts receive a weekly digest of matched opportunities. Paid subscriptions begin when you subscribe at our then-current pricing, including any founding-member rate we offer to early customers, and renew for successive periods until you cancel. Fees are billed in U.S. dollars in advance and, except where required by law, are non-refundable. We may add, change, or remove features, set usage limits, and adjust pricing for future billing periods; if we change the price that applies to your subscription, we will give you advance notice and you may cancel before the change takes effect.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time through the billing portal accessible from your account settings. You can also contact us at hello@bidsignal.org and we will cancel on your behalf. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then. Free accounts may be closed at any time by contacting us.

5. No guarantee of results

BidSignal helps you discover opportunities; it does not bid, apply, or contract on your behalf. We do not guarantee that you will be awarded, win, or qualify for any contract, nor that any opportunity surfaced is complete, current, accurate, or still open. Government sources change frequently, and listings may be amended, withdrawn, or closed at any time.

You are responsible for independently verifying every opportunity, deadline, and requirement directly with the issuing agency before relying on it or submitting a bid.

6. Your account and accurate information

You agree to provide accurate information (such as your email and the trade and regions you serve) and to keep it current so we can match opportunities for you. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your subscription.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • resell, redistribute, scrape, or systematically extract the Service or its content;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or circumvent our matching or data systems;
  • use the Service to send spam or for any unlawful purpose; or
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including the curation, matching, ranking, and presentation of opportunities, and all related software and branding, is owned by Merwin Aamir d/b/a BidSignal and protected by applicable law. The underlying government records are public; our compilation, enrichment, and presentation of them are not. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own business purposes.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that opportunities will be timely or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BidSignal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost contracts, or lost revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

11. Governing law

BidSignal is a U.S.-based business operated from Detroit, Michigan, and the Service is offered to customers in the United States. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Michigan.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and unsubscribe at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
